No. Your full UK or EU photocard driving licence is valid for hiring and driving a car in Florida, you do not need to exchange it or obtain a US licence. Present it at collection along with your passport and your Smarter Car Hire Florida rental voucher. If your licence is not in English, or you still hold a paper licence, the rental provider may require an International Driving Permit (IDP), we recommend obtaining one before you travel if this applies to you.
At the time of collection you will be required to produce a credit card or debit card in the name of the lead driver. Our Florida car hire debit card guide provides more information.
